Description:

UCC wishes to appoint an experienced individual to the role of Manager, Clinical Skills Simulation Resource Centre (CSSRC), in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Reporting to the Head of School or nominee, the successful candidate will lead and manage the CSSRC, working closely with the existing CSSRC team, academic team, professional support staff and clinical partners. They will deliver strategic management, supporting the implementation of simulation-based learning, teaching and assessment and related activities across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing and midwifery programmes.

The CSSRC has significant simulation-based capabilities including low-fidelity task trainers, anatomical models, high-fidelity patient simulators, standardised participants and is developing virtual/immersive/online simulation approaches. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and play a core role in resource planning and the ongoing development of the CSSRC.
