Manufacturing Training And Development Supervisor

You will Lead Training and Development for the County Mayo site, which comprises approx. 1,000 Associates working across Manufacturing Operations, and includes personnel in R&D, Global Engineering, Finance and HR along with numerous global roles in functions like SCM, FFG, Engineering etc.

Leading training for all Hourly Associates in the two manufacturing plants, supported by Training Coordinators (3). This role will also lead training and development for all Staff Associates. It will also play a key role in supporting the Production System, Standard Work and Associate Development elements, training for new systems including Fit for Growth and Planned Maintenance in the Maintenance group.

You will also play a key role in leading implementation of corporate programmes including IDP’s (Individual Development Plans) DSP (Development and Succession Planning) and PM (Performance Management).

Duties:

• Lead training for all Hourly associate in operations
• Lead training and development for all Staff Associates across the site, in conjunction both with Global Talent management and local programs
• Support the introduction of new products and processes
• Support the ongoing embedding of the companies Production System, in particular Standard Work and Associate Development
• Lead all training aspects of ISO Audits ensuring full compliance to all required standards at all times and supporting all Compliance Training
• Support all Health and Safety Training as required
• Lead key Corporate Programmes including IDP, DSP and HPM
• Support Induction of New Hires
• Play a key role within the global Training and Development community leading and supporting various projects as assigned
• Ensure all systems are up to date and accurate and produce accurate reports e.g. LMS & Qumas
• Support all major ongoing change projects from a Training and Development perspective

Experience:

• 3rd Level Qualification in Business/HR/Training & Development
• 5 - 10 Years working in a regulated Manufacturing environment in a similar position (Regulated Manufacturing – Medical, Pharma Etc)
• A demonstrable track record of utilizing modern effective tolls and processes within a lean manufacturing environment to drive continuous improvement
