We are seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated Marketing Executive to join the RCSI Graduate School of Healthcare Management and RCSI Online team. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a newly established team developing innovative marketing solutions to drive University growth and impact. The Marketing Executive will work with the management team to implement robust marketing plans for a growing portfolio and will work to support student recruitment activities and international growth ambitions. Ideal candidates will be creative and experienced in communication and content development, with excellent technical skills, and a passion for marketing through a range of mediums.

Specifically, the duties of the post are:

  • Working collaboratively on the implementation of and reporting on the marketing strategy for the RCSI Online portfolio.
  • Management of the digital presence of the RCSI Online portfolio via website maintenance, organic online activities, and digital marketing plans in support of student recruitment activities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative and creative marketing initiatives, leveraging current marketing trends and technology solutions
  • Development of content in different forms and channels including copy, creatives and video content
  • Implementation of and reporting on digital marketing plans in support of student recruitment
  • Coordination and representation of face-to-face events in support of the recruitment and marketing strategy and to enhance customer and stakeholder relations
  • Management of recruitment webinars and masterclasses and other online marketing events
  • Develop and execute effective CRM strategies that drive customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value, ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Develop and implement customer journeys that deliver personalized and relevant communications
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure CRM initiatives are aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor and analyze CRM metrics, including customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue
  • Building of relationships with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, IT, Communications & Events) and external partners, in support of the recruitment and marketing strategy
  • Support in the delivery of projects aligned with the RCSI Online Strategy

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participation on programmes of training and development as may be required from time to time.
  • Representing the best interest of RCSI and GSM at all times.
  • Performing such other duties as may be required from time to time.
  • Travel on occasion may form part of the role.
  • Occasional out-of-hours work will apply

Key Requirements/Competencies

Essential

  • Third level qualification in relevant discipline
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience of using CRMs
  • Experience of event planning and coordination
  • Knowledge and experience managing social media channels and generating organic content and paid campaigns for same.
  • Knowledge and experience tailoring content for specific audiences/markets.
  • Knowledge and experience of content development in different formats (e.g. creatives, video, written)
  • Knowledge and experience managing and updating website pages.
  • Knowledge and experience using email marketing automation platforms.
  • Track record in taking ownership of discrete programmes of activity.
