Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and visitor numbers to the hospitality venue.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to promote the hospitality venue
- Identify and target potential customers, including tour operators, travel agents, and online travel agencies
- Collaborate with the attraction management team to create unique and memorable experiences for visitors
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales and marketing decisions
- Manage and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media and industry partners
- Monitor and report on sales and marketing performance, and adjust strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales and marketing role within the tourism industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making
- Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including social media, email marketing, and PPC advertising
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
