Role Overview

This role sits within the ILIM Marketing Team who form part of the Distribution Team in ILIM. We are in an exciting period of change and are expanding our team to meet the growing needs of the business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven candidate to join our team in the newly created role of Marketing Support Specialist.

We are open to considering candidates with a desire to start their career in Marketing, or candidates who already have some experience and are looking to continue to grow and develop their career in a leading investment management company.

Training and support will be provided to the successful applicant on any internal systems and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

  • Managing the day-to-day marketing and communication requests from institutional business partners
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations in line with Irish Life’s brand guidelines
  • Supporting the Marketing team with conference and event planning
  • Content design and application for regular online newsletter
  • Updating CRM database – Salesforce with updating Campaigns/Reports
  • Managing distribution, monitoring and ordering of marketing literature
  • Managing ILIM’s local marketing merchandise stock control process
  • Updating content on SharePoint sites in line with existing process to keep all sites compliant, up to date, relevant and user friendly
  • Ad hoc marketing tasks as they arise

Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills


The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:

  • 3rd level qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Business-related area
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; including PowerPoint Word & Excel
  • Some experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders including B2B and up to Senior Management level
  • Creative with an eye for design
  • Be highly motivated, a self-starter capable of working on his/her own initiative and committed to delivering high quality standards
  • Team player with a can-do, positive attitude and willing to get involved in multiple projects at once
