Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading Medical Device Client.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience, with a strong background in setting up new manufacturing lines and expertise in mechanical or biomedical engineering.
This role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, mechanical design proficiency, and a deep understanding of fluid dynamics.
The candidate must also have hands-on experience in setting up equipment and manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Line Setup: Lead the setup of new manufacturing lines for electromechanical devices, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Mechanical Design: Utilize strong mechanical design skills to develop and optimize medical devices, focusing on cardiovascular applications.
- Fluid Dynamics: Apply knowledge of fluid dynamics (pressure, flow, temperature) to enhance device performance and manufacturing processes.
- Equipment Setup: Hands-on setup and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex manufacturing issues, implementing effective solutions to improve production efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant regulatory standards and quality control measures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to achieve project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in the Med Tech industry, with a focus on setting up new manufacturing lines.
- Education: Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization electro mechanical catheter devices for cardiovascular applications.
