The Senior Online Media Manager will have responsibility in ensuring the planning, implementing, optimising and tracking of display, video and social campaigns is executed to the highest standard and following best practices.

This is a key role in the International Digital team, offering cross regional scope, you will be responsible for achieving our business objectives, building and engaging our customer base and ensuring we have key relationships in place with our partners.

Working closely with key stakeholders across Brand, Customer Marketing, Customer Growth, Commercial Product and Marketing Tech, you will lead the evolution of the Online Media team for the business to develop and execute a market leading Online Media strategy.

The role requires a true critical expert who is obsessed with emerging trends in digital media and has the operational aptitude to enable them at pace. Moreover, you’ll champion a fully localised approach in every customer interaction, developing content that is natively designed to cut through in our regional markets.

Reporting directly to the International Head of Digital Media, the Senior Online Media Manager will

  • Be responsible for having hands on experience in planning and running large scale digital campaigns across programmatic buying, social and direct digital buys.
  • Media & Partner Management: Prospect for, evaluate and negotiate for media placement opportunities that fulfil stated business objectives.
  • Develop best practice marketing strategies that consistently improve reach, effectiveness and conversion based on campaign goals.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to driving success, with ownership, accountability and heavy involvement in managing a team to deliver day-to-day display operations for Betfair.
  • Work with external media partners to overcome roadblocks, identify/act on new opportunities and more efficiently deploy/leverage their platforms/services.
  • Work with Marketing Tech and Customer Growth to improve marketing effectiveness and ensure the team are utilising the full capability of available resource.
  • Monitor the marketplace, competitive landscape, industry trends, and 3rd party data sources to constantly identify new marketing opportunities and / or potential threats.
  • Stakeholder management to ensure team performance and vision is communicated clearly.
  • Manage a team of three executives to ensure efficient delivery of brand, acquisition and Digital CRM budgets and ensure effective optimization across campaigns.
