Description:
Our client is undertaking a significant project to replace its outdated NAV 2009 software in Latin America with a new system combining "aLS" (NAV 2015) – ERP & LS Central PoS. This project requires splitting ERP and PoS functionalities to support future strategic programs and ensure legal and fiscal compliance in highly regulated countries. The project follows a Scrum/Agile methodology to enhance adaptability and responsiveness to changing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Backup Work on NAV 2009: Perform retrospective checks and backups on NAV 2009.
- Decommission NAV 2009: Systematically decommission NAV 2009, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Data Migration: Migrate data from NAV 2009 to NAV 2015, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Configuration of NAV 2015: Configure NAV 2015 based on the specifications of NAV 2009, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Agile Methodology Participation: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. Independently assess and report on technical feasibility and progress.
- JIRA Management: Create and maintain JIRA tickets for task management and progress tracking. Resolve issues identified during testing.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed process descriptions, unit testing reports, and configuration/developer testing reports using Confluence and JIRA. Present findings and progress in review meetings.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in Dynamics NAV 2009 and NAV 2015: Proficiency in backing up and decommissioning NAV 2009, migrating data between NAV 2009 and NAV 2015, and configuring NAV 2015.
- Agile Methodology Experience: Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in system configuration, data migration, and software development for ERP systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to independently resolve coding and configuration issues identified during testing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for coordination with the project team and presentation in review meetings.
- JIRA and Confluence: Proficiency in using JIRA for task management and Confluence for documentation.
