As a Digital Product Manager Senior within PNC's Retail Digital and Payments Organization, you will be based in the PNC Footprint. This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint except for Colorado, Hawaii, and Alaska. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
PNC is searching for a Senior Mobile Digital Accessibility Specialist that will provide digital accessibility testing, coaching and consulting to Agile teams. The person in this position will work directly with Agile teams to deliver high-value, accessible digital products & services to our customers. They will help teams find and fix accessibility issues. A strong candidate for this role will be passionate about serving customers with disabilities, deeply familiar with WCAG, and comfortable working within a cross-functional team.
Work with development teams and help them implement new native applications (iOS, Android) that are accessible or fix accessibility problems in existing applications
- Help integrate accessibility testing into the development process
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Developers, Designers, Quality Assurance, Content Contributors and Product Owners to execute accessibility requirements
- Perform WCAG assessments on digital assets
- Identify and clearly document accessibility issues
- Identify and clearly document recommendations for accessibility remediation
- Stay up to date on technology and experience patterns to continuously communicate changes and updates to our approach to accessibility
- At least 3 years of current experience developing iOS and Android native applications, with at least 5 years of total experience in software development preferred
- Accessibility testing experience with the following screen readers:
- TalkBack (Android)
- VoiceOver (iOS)
- Experience in professional Digital Accessibility testing
- Experience in evaluating native mobile applications for at least WCAG 2.0 A/AA conformance
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
- IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
- Supports and executes digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.
- Completes analysis of digital experience trends, and third party requirements as necessary, in support of the development of new and existing digital experiences. Supports business case development.
- Makes effective recommendations for the development and design of new and existing digital experiences. Supports & manages the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences.
- Partners with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all digital experiences meet their strategic goals. Participates in product-specific marketing initiatives. As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs.
- Supports business results of recently introduced or existing digital experiences, coordinates reporting, and effectively recommends modifications to improve results.
