Network Security Engineer

Description:

Oversee firewalls, web proxies, and load balancers, ensuring expert handling of Palo Alto and Checkpoint technologies.
Manage incident and change requests, addressing issues promptly, and handling security incidents through SIEM tickets.
Maintain and upgrade IT security hardware and software supporting on-prem and cloud-based IT and OT firewalls.
Keep security documentation updated, engage in IPS review, and participate in security incident response, working within a skilled Infrastructure and Service team.
Provide technical advice within the IT Infrastructure domain, collaborating with external service providers, and staying informed on networking and firewalling developments.

ABOUT THE PERSON:
Advanced proficiency in managing and supporting Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls, including administration and upgrading.
Have exposure to Azure and other cloud services, showcasing adaptability to diverse IT environments.
Showcase excellent TCP/IP and network traffic knowledge, contributing to robust security engineering practices.
Display relevant IT and Security certifications, underlining a commitment to ongoing professional development.
