Occupational Therapist

Our client is an out-patient Neuro Physical Disability service based in Cork and are seeking to recruit a dynamic, skilled staff grade Occupational Therapist to join their developing team.

Working as part of multi-disciplinary team, as an Occupational Therapist will be required to deliver individual an occupational therapy service to both adult and paediatric clients via clinical assessments and working with clients and families to identify goals as well as group therapy to with a range of Neuro Physical Disabilities.

Interested applicants must have:

• An interest in Paediatric and/or adults Neurology and some experience in these areas.
• Clinical experience conducting assessments that inform intervention and service delivery.
• Developing individualized goals in collaboration with our clients and families.
• Delivering OT intervention in Neuro Rehabilitation.
• Commitment to on-going CPD
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and team working skills.
• Ability to use own initiative, work independently, and work as part of a team.
• Flexibility and openness to change are required.

Qualifications:

• A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapists with CORU registration
• Experience working in the area of Neurology (Paediatric or adults)
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English is essential.
• Permission to work in Ireland
