Operations Director

Description:

Manage all operational activities in our high throughput clinical diagnostic labs in Dublin. Lead and motivate a large team of operations staff through a small team of direct reports. Review laboratory processes, oversee process improvement/LEAN projects & foster a continuous improvement mindset in the team. Responsibility for facilities improvement & capex projects. Part of the senior management team, reporting to the MD Clinical Diagnostics Ireland. Manage a budget of €40million across 3 sites.

Requirements

Open to candidates based in Ireland & abroad but ready (clinical is a plus, but not a prerequisite – can consider candidates from food or other manufacturing businesses). Main criteria is that they have a strong operations management skillset and have managed a similar sized scope (minimum 100-150+ people). No need for full P&L experience, but experience managing bottom line P&L is desirable. Ideally, they should be on the upward curve of their career path, with space to grow
