In this very versatile role as Operations Manager, we are looking for talented individuals to join our high performing team at Avery Dennison Medical in Longford, Ireland with a direct reporting line to our Plant Manager.

- Planning, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing operation in compliance with company goals and objectives
- Performing analysis of manufacturing materials and determining optimum control methods, (KPIs) and resulting actions
- Lead and support Employee selection, training & development, performance appraisals and any disciplinary actions for the Business Unit.
- Continuous improvement / best practices
- Change agent
- Maximizing the efficiency of production lines and ensuring the effective employment utilization
- Provide leadership direction to team on problem solving and process improvements, address obstacles, provide resources and interact with other areas of the company to assist team in overcoming problems and streamlining the work process.
- Maintain and improve GMP standards and promote quality compliant culture
- Maintain and improve health & safety systems and promote EHS compliant culture
Qualifications
What we expect from you! Your Expertise:
- Master’s degree in engineering, management, or related field
- 5+ years Operations/Manufacturing experience with 3+ manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in leading and managing individuals and teams (Strong leadership and people skills)
- Strong knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies
