Description:
The Oracle Partner Manager will be responsible for driving Version 1 revenue via the Oracle partnership across all sectors and verticals.
To ensure Version 1 is the partner of choice for Oracle customers the Partner Manager will be responsible for working with key stakeholders such as sales, pre-sales, delivery, marketing etc. to identify competitive differentiators, grow pipeline and to support the creation of propositions alongside the Partner Alliance Operator and Marketing function.
You will champion Version 1 with Oracle but, just as importantly, you will be Oracle’s champion within Version 1. Deliver growth by driving referrals and revenues through collaboration with Oracle.
Responsibilities:
- Have overall responsibility for the partner relationship with Oracle
- Work directly with Oracle’s Partner Manager 1 to promote Version 1 within Oracle at ASR, CSM, Delivery and Senior Management level
- Develop, build, and manage strong, trusted relationships with industry sales and partner teams at Oracle and sales and community leaders at Version 1
- Sit as a member on the Oracle Partner Advisory Board
- Create and execute against annual business plans with ambitious goals and clear KPIs that will drive growth for Version 1
- Build and influence pipeline and generate revenue and referrals for Version 1 through the Oracle partner sales channel
- Operate and maintain a consistent pipeline reporting process and support deal registration
- Be knowledgeable in the partners’ products, company and industry and ensure that updates to the partner programme and funding are factored into Version 1’s approach
- Create joint partner enablement plans in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders
- Work with Version 1 and the partner’s marketing team around go-to market plans and propositions
- Support the creation of Case Studies, Media Content and Publications via Oracle and Version 1’s marketing team to promote Version 1 and raise brand awareness in Oracle and the customer market
- Collaborate with sales teams to create the enablement collateral that is needed for the Partner Manager role to succeed
- Primary focus to deliver across UK & Ireland with future scope to support international growth (initially planned within the USA)
- Support other Version 1 strategic initiatives
- Co-ordinate the achievement of specialisations that set us apart from competitors
- Collaborate with the practice and portfolio areas around delivery capability and skills
Qualifications
You will have:
- Previous experience of working as a Partner Manager – preferably Oracle
- High level of knowledge of Oracle (SaaS, Applications Unlimited and Tech) is desirable but not necessary
- Organisational, project management and execution capabilities
- Commercially aware, you will be supporting salespeople on partner related opportunities
- Team player, able to work closely with Version 1 cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, pathways, and the delivery practices
- Results focused – ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve stated goals
- Adept at building great relationships by being a proactive, responsive, and strategic resource
- A desire to learn and grow, to help understand and extend a complex business that is ever-changing.
- Resourceful, creative, and able to find innovative ways to achieve results
- Previous experience of delivering growth to an organisation through partner relationships
- UK&Ireland based to facilitate regular attendance at Oracle premises
