Outbound Sales Representative

 

Description:

The role of the Outbound Sales Agent is to ensure that outbound sales calls are managed in a professional manner in order to convert leads to sales. For this, the candidate will need to ensure that they are comfortable with the product on offer (with training), that they have become familiar with the script and can appropriately use all their training to provide the best service to the customer.

This position will be for an initial short period of time and after this the successful candidate will be placed on a similar Customer Service team in the business.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Outbound calls to UK customers with the aim of selling our client’s product, using the training and scripts provided
  • To proactively attempt to close the sale on each call where possible
  • To have an excellent knowledge of the product in order to respond to any queries that the customer may have
  • To accurately record sales data and to provide this to the Team Manager
  • To also manage a small number of inbound calls
  • To be able to provide feedback to the Team Manager on your progress daily.
  • To work with Team Manager, Sales Coach and the overall team to ensure the best service to customers and our client

Qualifications/skills

  • Willing to work towards an APA qualification
  • IT literate, ability to use Microsoft Office applications
