Part Qualified Accountant

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a global leading FMCG brand seeking an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant to join their dynamic team based in north Dublin.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working within an expanding team, the successful candidate will gain complete exposure to end-to-end accounting and systems transformation within a supportive finance function.

This role will suit a part qualified accountant coming from the Big 4 or a Top 20 firm that wants to make their first move into industry. It will also suit someone with industry experience seeking to fast track their career within a growing multinational.

The Role

• Preparation and submission of management accounts
• Preparation and maintenance of specific P&L accounts
• Preparation and completion of bank reconciliations
• Calculation of accruals and prepayments
• Managing intercompany accounts and reconciliations
• Provide analysis and support to external and internal audit
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators for the Group
• Responsible for a number of ad hoc projects within the finance function

The Candidate

• Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in practice or industry
• Good academic background
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint and an understanding of ERP systems
