Patient Accounts Officer

 

Description:

The Patient Accounts Officer is responsible for the provision of administration support in all areas of the Patient Accounts Office and for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the invoicing process, in accordance with the terms of the Health Acts and patient’s eligibility and in ensuring the effective and timely collection of these monies owed, whether in-house or through liaison with external debt collection agencies. The officer is responsible for ensuring that adequate records and systems are maintained in a satisfactory condition in order to provide information as required and to fulfil all the statutory requirements on an on-going basis.
