Payments Solution Architect

In this Role, you will

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into solution designs adhering to strategic architecture roadmaps, principles, patterns and standards.
• Identify and provide recommendations on solution options where appropriate.
• Actively participate in project teams to provide design guidance to assist project planning, execution, test and deployment.
• Collaborate with teams such as solution design, factories, strategic architecture, project teams, analysts, technical teams, business partners and technology architecture teams including security and infrastructure.
• Provide design leadership and support technical teams to ensure alignment to the design throughout delivery.

Technical leadership and stakeholder management is vital for this role and experience on delivery in agile and waterfall as well as hybrid delivery methodologies.

You have a consistent track record of solid and current solution architecture experience on large and complex payment solutions, payment engines and the integration thereof from channel systems into back-office systems and proven knowledge of clearing and settlement as well as the payment lifecycle.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;

• Minimum of 5 years payments Solution Architecture experience
• Banking and/or Financial services experience in large environment
• IT Architecture qualifications (TOGAF/CITA)
• Finastra suite of products specifically GPP Fusion/GPP SP
