The successful candidate will effectively administer the Nominated Health Agencies Superannuation Scheme (NHASS) and Single Public Service Pensions (SPSPS) for Avista (Dublin)

Responsibilities:

• Prioritising registration requirements for all new entrants and updating NHASS/SPSPS records correctly for existing & New Staff

• Provide estimates/advice regarding the NHASS & SPSPS to both new, existing, TRR and retired employees as and when required.

• Issue calculations and supporting templates for Purchase of Notional Service, Purchase of Temporary Service and periods of non-pensionable service which are capable of being pensioned

• Cross check Class of PRSI for current employment with any employment transferred-in or for which preserved benefits are being held (e.g. Class A v’s Class D) and whether previous service was VHSS or NHASS/SPSPS etc.

• Processing pension refunds, transfers, preserved/retained benefits, retirement claims due to Age, Cost Neutral Early Retirement, Ill-Health Retirement etc.

• Process relevant pension payment increases in line Consolidated Pay-scales and calculation of arrears.

• Applicants should possess Level 1 Behavioural Competencies of Avista Competency Framework
