Pharmaceutical Assessor

Thornshaw Scientific, In partnership with my client, we have a new vacancy of a Pharmaceutical Assessor to join the Pharmaceutical Assessment department. This is an initial 1 year contract.

Your role will evaluate the quality aspects of new applications for human medicinal products and variations to/renewals of existing authorisations for pharmaceutical products containing new chemical entities or established active ingredients.

You will work closely and maintain effective working relationships with the other members of the Pharmaceutical Assessment to ensure effective co-ordination and co-operation across all areas of assessment and to ensure that the objectives for the department are met.
 

• To be considered for this post, candidates must have: A degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or other relevant scientific discipline A minimum of 3 years relevant industrial, regulatory and/or research experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a regulatory authority or in a related field A postgraduate qualification in a relevant scientific discipline or an additional three-year relevant experience A proven track record of working within multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability demonstrating excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to meet deadlines.
