Plant Fitter/mechanic

Description:

This is a full-time role for a Plant Fitter/Mechanic located in Dublin. The Plant Fitter/Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant machinery and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, dismantling and reassembling machinery, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring equipment is operational and safe to use.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance, repair and servicing
• Knowledge of diagnosing faults in machinery and equipment
• Skills in dismantling and reassembling machinery
• Proficient in performing routine maintenance checks
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications and/or qualifications in mechanical engineering or related fields
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or plant hire industry
