Description:
The successful candidate will
· Lead under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and undertake reviews of the academic and policy literature
· Liaise with funders, advisory bodies, and key research stakeholders
· Undertake and direct detailed and complex quantitative data analysis, and contribute to the design of such analysis and its interpretation
· Recruit and interview stakeholders for aligned qualitative studies
· Undertake qualitative data analysis
· Assist with ethics, research integrity and data management
· Draft reports, scientific papers and contribute to other dissemination activities
· Make presentations at national and international conferences
· Contribute to the development of other projects, and grant applications
· Any other duties assigned commensurate to this level of post.
Qualifications/Skills required:
Essential Requirements:
· A PhD in Health, Psychology or a related discipline
· Significant experience with complex data analysis in SPSS or STATA
· Experience of qualitative research design, data collection and data analysis
· Good publication track record
· Evidence of independent research track record
· Evidence of effective team working in a research context
· Ability to work independently and manage a project whilst taking responsibility for project delivery
· Understanding of child and adolescent health issues
