The Pre-Sales Technical team plays a crucial role in providing technical solutions to both new and existing corporate customers. As a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant, you’ll be responsible for understanding customer requirements, offering technical guidance, and ensuring seamless communication between business and technical stakeholders.
Here are the key deliverables and responsibilities:
Solution Articulation and Consultation:
- Attend meetings with potential clients to understand their technical and business needs.
- Gather necessary information before designing a solution.
- Provide technical solutions professionally and within agreed timeframes.
- Create and confidently deliver technical presentations to both internal and external audiences.
Technical Expertise:
- Possess in-depth working knowledge of Server, Storage, Network infrastructure technologies
- Documentation and Communication: Create internal design configuration documentation, including network diagrams with technical explanations.
- Collaborate with product management to provide feedback on existing products and contribute insights for new products.
- Build productive relationships internally and externally, keeping colleagues informed of activities.
Sales Support:
- Understand business drivers and risks for both the customer and the company.
- Professionally sell technical solutions to clients.
- Provide accurate and timely management information, including activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, and KPIs.
- Adhere to the company’s quality and business processes.
Proposal Development
- Structure and produce compelling sales proposals and technical documentation.
- Highlight cost savings and business benefits for clients using the company’s propositions.
- Assume responsibility for running bid teams when relevant.
