Principal Performance Engineer

Description:

I am seeking a Principal Performance Engineer to join my client who is a leading financial services company based in Dublin. You will be responsible for providing performance testing services across a diverse set of applications, technologies, and teams as part of the Enterprise Technology Software Engineering Domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to Design and implement automated performance tests using Jenkins to support Continuous integration.
• Experience testing APIs, HTTP traffic, and UI-based Performance tests using Selenium WebDriver in conjunction with JMETER.
• Cloud experience to support test infra provisioning via CloudFormation / Terraform.
• Help teams embed integrated performance testing to support continuous integration and ensure early feedback in the development lifecycle.
• Deliver Application-based Performance testing ensuring scope is appropriately documented, performed, monitored and performance issues effectively remediated.
• Maintaining the status of projects, initiating discussions with stakeholders or external groups to resolve issues.
