Principal Software Engineer

Description:

The ideal candidate for this Principal Python Engineer role will have strong experience with Python and AWS, as well as a good understanding of Kubernetes. Previous experience with team management, microservices and huge sets of data is nice to have but not mandatory. This is a remote-first role with a company based in Dublin, Ireland. Office attendance is not mandatory but is requested during critical launches, important meetings, etc. - 1-2 times a month.

You will:

• Work on scalable and robust software solutions for the company
• Mentor and coach junior engineers with your years of experience
• Closely collaborate with the VP of software engineering

You have:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with robust, scalable and distributed systems
• 3+ years of experience with Python, Kubernetes and cloud-based software (AWS is preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
