Procurement Lead

 

Description:

PE Global is currently seeking proactive Procurement Lead with a Construction or engineering background. This role, consists of overseeing procurement activities within the Financial Services Department

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze project requirements to create a procurement project listing and prioritize schedules.
  • Design sourcing and contract strategies in accordance with procurement regulations.
  • Coordinate procurement activities with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate with legal services to facilitate timely contract execution.
  • Provide procurement guidance and support to project stakeholders and users.
  • Generate reports to track project progress, expenditure, and sourcing activities.
  • Ensure alignment with project management processes and compliance standards.
  • Manage audit engagements and follow-up actions as needed.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field; postgraduate or procurement qualifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in project-based environments.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and experience in public procurement processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with procurement software.
  • Construction or engineering background
