Production Operations Supervisor

Description:

You will work as a Production Operations Supervisor for our client, a hugely successful and established manufacturing facility based in the South East.

You will be responsible for meeting annual production, quality, and utilization targets. This role is a days one, but on occasion you may have to provide relief to shift operations supervisors.

• Supervise various teams to ensure delivery of key manufacturing metrics

• Ensure adherence to relevant safety, environmental and technical standards

• Organize and direct daily work activities to meet headcount requirements

• Improve processes and systems

• Lead, motivate and develop staff in a manner that will drive excellence

• Train and develop operators in SOPs

• Review key reporting and checklist systems daily and ensure completion

• Manage contractors when needed

• Relevant Level 8 qualification

• Extensive experience in an automated manufacturing environment

• Has managed Teams in the past

• Motivator, leader, communicator

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Can do, will do attitude
