Description:
SCS is currently seeking to hire Production Operators across all of our business divisions.
The successful candidates will work a day shift of 39 hours, with an early finish at lunchtime on Fridays.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment.
- Work on varied tasks which may include: assembly, welding, machine operating, cutting, trimming, cleaning, packing, and labelling.
- Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information which may require entry into a computer software system (ERP).
Education and Experience
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent secondary school education.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in operating manufacturing equipment.
- Working in a regulated environment with adherence to Quality Systems.
- Manual dexterity: good hand-eye co-ordination.
- A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Fluent verbal and written English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently manage workload from end to end.
