Position Description

The Renewables Engineering Group is responsible for managing and delivering engineering and technical expertise across ESB’s portfolio of Renewable Energy projects from feasibility through operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to develop designs for a Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution infrastructure projects from Concept through to detailed design and construction, incorporating design requirements from the various design partners throughout.
• Producing Site Infrastructure designs in Civil 3D, generate comprehensive layouts showing the required cut/fill, drainage and quantities
• Assessment and optimisation of design based on OEM’s requirements and site constraints
• Assess viability of transport routes for abnormal loads and undertake Swept Path Analysis to demonstrate potentially problematic areas
• Liaise with Clients to provide expert advice to assist in developing strategies and solutions to mitigate and resolve design constraints
• Prepare design specifications and provide input to contract documents and support the delivery of designs through the construction process
• Internal and external stakeholder management
