Project Delivery Manager

At SSE Airtricity we have an ambition to be the largest retrofitter of homes on the island of Ireland. We operate across all market segments, including social housing, private homes and small businesses to support them in upgrading their homes and premises. As we grow to scale to meet this ambition, we are broadening our Projects division which will work on the larger works programmes with Local Authorities and Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) to support them in design, procurement and delivery of their social housing upgrade programmes.

Our Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for the development of a programme of works associated with secured bids with these bodies and the following:

• Tendering and securing contract partners to deliver housing upgrades – over 300 homes per annum

• Developing a delivery programme to upgrade 300 homes across various housing clients

• Client and contract management to ensure we maximise value for SSE and our clients

• Ensuring highest standards of Safety and Quality across all SSE sites

• Onboarding and developing a project management team

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

• Demonstrable experience in management of new housing developments and/or retrofit upgrade programmes

• An understanding of building regulations and principles of efficient building design

• Previous experience of procuring and managing building contractors

• Demonstrated ability to develop a safety programme for building works

• Previous experience working with Local Authorities is desirable but not essential
