Project Delivery Specialist

 

Description:

The role will support the project team in developing end to end vendor management processes and the transition to a new group vendor management function. This an exciting opportunity to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and help shape the growth strategy for the business.

 

The Role:

 

  • Support the delivery of change projects and continuous improvement initiatives with clear deliverables
  • Work closely with the project team to support the development of a new group vendor management operating model
  • Lead cross functional collaboration to ensure effective communication and engagement with stakeholders at all levels
  • Understand and develop the business handoff between group vendor management, local entities and other functions
  • Apply standards and methodologies, provide expertise on use of methods and tools to support new ways of working
  • Support in developing KPI’s & KRI’s to help measure the performance and monitor further improvements
  • Provide support in the development of training material and business readiness plans
  • Be an advocate for continuous improvement activity to develop and progress vendor management targets
  • Manage stakeholders while tracking and reporting issues
  • Define and measure success metrics, and monitor change progress
  • Foster a collaborative working environment with functional areas and share best practices across the organisation

 

The Person:

 

  • Experience in a similar role within a life insurance environment is preferred
  • Proven experience in the roll out of a target operating model, establishing end to end processes, defining interfaces with local operations and key stakeholders
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in commercial resolutions and working with vendors to achieve the best outcomes to problems
  • Excellent people leadership skills and ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Ability to apply local outsourcing regulations, Solvency II requirements and EBA, BMA and EIOPA guidelines
  • Good communication, presentation and organisation skills
  • Experience in end to end vendor management lifecycle and delivering senior level reporting
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment with integrity and objectivity whilst working to strict deadlines
