Description:
The Project Engineer will the project scope for new laboratories building, facilities, utilities, lab fit outs, contractor management, permitting, working on industrial utilities and additional projects and project upgrades,
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project scope in place, including all stakeholders through to project completion.
- Project engineer and manage manufacturing projects.
- Manage continuous improvement applied to project management.
- Manage all GMP change control.
- Engage with site SMEs and managers along with global functions.
- Communicate, influence and affect change with all levels of stakeholders and teams.
- Evaluate and transfer goals and objectives into measurable plans.
- Identify gaps / risks and put appropriate remediation plans in place.
- Build strong relationships to identify requirements and potential opportunities.
- Employ project management techniques and Problem Solving.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and advice in field of project management.
- Resolve any issues effectively.
- Always ensure compliance to GMP.
- Ensure safety & compliance standards are maintained to the highest standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant science/engineering discipline– Level 8 desirable
- Junior to intermediate level Project Engineer, 3 plus years relevant experience with experience in managing cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility.
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion.
- Excellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team.
- Execution/adherence – demonstrated record of on time delivery.
- Demonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation.
- Ability to work with end user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plans.
- Strong computer MS Project, MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.). Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices
