Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking manages some of the Bank's largest and most prestigious domestic and international names. Corporate Banking Ireland & UK ('CBI&UK') is responsible for large corporations including private companies, Plc's, multinationals and semi-states.

Project Finance Ireland is part of Corporate Banking Ireland, providing financing to the Irish infrastructure, energy and renewables markets, key target growth areas for both the bank and wider economy. We lead all aspects of the origination & business development from existing and new Clients, Customer service along with proactive Portfolio Management to ensure credit standards are maintained in this growing sector, including renewable energy.

We support the management of a large portfolio of Project Finance Clients, with key focus on maintaining the highest standards of relationship management and proactive risk management.

• Relationship management of a large portfolio of existing customers;
• Credit assessment, report writing, and presentation of key risks and issues in a concise and timely manner;
• Development and maintenance of strong working relationships internally (incl. Corporate & Commercial Credit, Global Markets and the wider Group) and externally (including participation in customer meetings);
• Co-ordinate, support and deliver timely and accurate returns of a multifaceted nature;
• Working with other teams / business areas including cross-team projects and initiatives as the need arises;
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with Group Code of Conduct and stringent adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory controls.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse team that is targeting significant growth in its loan book. You will work with experienced team members to develop your knowledge of Project Finance. You will be able to develop a wide range of skills including credit assessment and handling a portfolio of customers, within the structure of a Corporate Banking relationship management team, which provides support to allow the successful candidate take on increasing responsibility in a large portfolio.
