Description:
Seeking a Contracts / Project Manager for a top company in Laois where a background in Civil construction or water experience is a big plus. This will be hybrid remote and will also involve some travel so a car will be provided and a very competitive package.
Responsibility for the management, coordination and execution of the scope of works for each project, whilst meeting the project objectives set out for EHS, technical, quality, programme and commercial.
- Preparation of proposals and profit and loss accounts for projects
- Assist in driving forward the development of new service offerings
- Liaising with Clients contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holders
- Monitor projects budgets and programmes.
- Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Health and Safety
- Support in developing the sales pipeline, meeting and developing opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.
- Lead Compliance and quality standards on site
- Develop bespoke solutions for complex treatment and processing issues
- Procurement of materials.
- Management and co-ordination of project team and all works on site.
- Ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Commercial control of day-to-day operations for projects.
- Management of direct crews & sub-contractors.
Other
- Primary degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction/Environmental Management or other suitable qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and ability to solve related issues and provide effective solutions that support overall Project objectives.
- Ability to balance priorities to ensure Project targets are met without sacrificing overall goals.
- Be able to work within a team and expected to be competent to work on own initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a project team to effectively manage a project through it’s lifecycle.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managing sites/crew
- Proficiency in generating 2D/3D drawings
- To act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, personnel and other personnel encountered within your role;
- To foster and develop good customer and public relations at all times and to portray a professional image of the company.
- To report for work in a timely manner and to conduct work as scheduled to company and customer satisfaction.

- To lead multiple projects in client facing role, managing key stakeholder relationships, operatives, contractors and quality standards
