ILH have a vacancy for a strong and experienced Project Manager who will work within the Transformation and Change Team to deliver on our strategic change portfolio for 2023 and beyond. This is a client facing role across the organisation dealing with business and IT stakeholders. Our team are central to the management and delivery of high profile, complex, cross-functional IT and non-IT projects.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to think strategically and to drive change through the skilful planning and execution of a strategic change portfolio. You are self-sufficient and can manage complex and large-scale change projects with minimal support.
- You will be a key resource to support and deliver on our strategic change portfolio and will be instrumental in the success of its delivery for the organisation.
- You will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can translate strategic vision and objectives into meaningful and manageable execution plans.
- You will be a dynamic team player and self-motivated, you will demonstrate a strong customer-centric ethos and an ability to develop strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
- You will adhere to our change delivery framework and support the development and embedding of best practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT & Business change Project Management experience with a proven track record and understanding of project management principles and planning in relation to IT and business change programmes/portfolios.
- This role would suit a person who will exemplify the corporate perspective, leadership vision, broad experience and character needed of a dynamic team player who is energetic and passionate with a positive attitude.
- You will lead, project manage and co-ordinate the delivery of IT application and business projects. You will liaise between technical aspects and project sponsors, business and other key stakeholders as required to understand stakeholder needs.
- Work with sponsors to write proposals, business cases and charters for review and sign-off.
- You will lead in determining and developing project objectives and outlining project requirements. You will lead, manage and adhere to project budgets, schedules and scope and updating forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and actively manage the relevant project artefacts as per the project delivery framework and methodology.
- You will manage workflow of project team and vendors deliverables in alignment with project milestones operational requirements and constraints while accounting for unforeseen delays and you will co-ordinate project resources across a number of IT & business projects.
- You will have end-to-end accountability and delivery of IT & business projects to achieve the desired outcomes in a predictable and timely manner and monitor and provide status reports to project sponsors and PMO with time and tasks tracking, risks, milestones, budget and resource management of a project at any point during the project life cycle against the overall project plan.
- Undertake standard RAID analysis and establishing the project governance structure and processes, following the ILH project governance and delivery framework.

- You will have extensive technical and analytical skills for problem solving and decision making with the ability to prioritise and operate in complex environments.

- A strong understanding of best practices, tools and techniques for project management and programme management potentially with ideas to develop / improve these processes.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and connections within the team, the business and external vendors and across the organisation.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally at levels up to Director and C Suite, and ability to make complex technology problems simple to the business.
- Successful experience in change management in a large or complex organisation.
- Sound knowledge of risk management principles and practices and ways of mitigating those risks to an acceptable level.
- An appreciation for regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated relationship managements skills including the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence with key stakeholders.
- Excellent time management, organising and planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Develop good relations with project teams and adopt a collaborative approach to managing projects.
- Highly motivated, driven, pragmatic and completely focused on project delivery for business benefit.
- You will be highly proficient in Project Management software/tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio & Word.
