As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful completion of technical software projects, from needs assessment to the delivery of the solution. You will be responsible for projects delivered by multiple development teams using cutting-edge data processing capabilities to produce high-quality, innovative solutions. Technologies include HBase, Spark, Java, Scala, EMR, Lamda, RDS, and more.

You will be part of a team, working in a stimulating, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement within an agile development process, delivering creative, high-quality solutions.

key Responsibilities

• • Ensuring that plans are maintained to enable expected delivery
  • Project progress – to initiate corrective action where necessary
  • The creation and execution of project plans – to revise appropriately to meet changing needs/requirements
  • Monitoring and reporting progress against plan and budget to Program Leader
  • Ensuring regular project progress - reporting meetings with project staff
  • Management of multi-stream projects through full SDLC
  • Applying Agile methodology appropriately to enforce project standards

Key Requirements

• • Minimum of 6+ years of project management experience - managing medium to high complexity projects
  • PMI/IPMA certification is desired
  • Experience delivering projects in Agile environments
  • Exposure to AWS based development projects would be an advantage
  • Experience using Jira, Workday Projects and Power BI
  • Knowledge of methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMP
  • Strong analytical skills, with a logical and structured mindset
  • Decision making ability with proven leadership skills
  • Several years of delivery experience within the software industry, with a focus on quality and knowledge of existing/emerging technologies
  • An understanding of software development from conception of initial requirements through to delivery, maintenance and support
