Description:
The Project Manager will collaborate with the Projects Director to oversee diverse elements of multiple projects within our Engineering Services portfolio. The selected individual, in partnership with the Projects Director, will oversee strategizing, organizing, and implementing projects from the Dublin-based NIRAS Office and client locations. A solid foundation in project management & and project execution is essential for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- With the Projects Director and colleagues, safely coordinate and lead project teams in the delivery of assigned projects.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in diverse Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Engineering projects.
- Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring alignment with the Projects Director.
- Ensure proper safety protocols are in place to protect employees and the environment.
- Selecting vendors and completing vendor evaluation matrix.
- Managing scope and scope changes.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and technical specifications.
- Coordination of processing equipment installation and services hook up.
- Ensuring equipment vendors and engineering personnel delivery projects in line with timelines and specifications agreed in the purchase order/contract.
- Coordination of all equipment documentation requirements.
- Commissioning of equipment and engineering support during qualification.
- Handover training, coordination of O&M manuals, Spare parts, & PM schedules.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering - Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 Years practical Project Management experience on large scale Process Engineering related projects in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, AMT and Engineering projects.
- Professional Project Management Qualifications Preferred.
- Hold a successful track record of delivery of large scale process based/ CAPEX projects in diverse industry sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, AMT and Engineering projects.
- Possess Highly developed Project Management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Previous experience in highly regulated pharmaceutical, process manufacturing environments
- Deep understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical/process production equipment and processes.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated and quality-focused environment.
