Property Finance Group (PFG) is part of Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking. We manage the Group's largest and most complex real estate relationships & transactions, active in all sectors of the property market (Offices, Retail, Residential & Industrial).

We handle a loan book of €6bn with teams based in Dublin, London and Belfast.

Each team is responsible for new business origination and relationship management of existing connections where customer focus, robust & proactive portfolio management is key

Due to portfolio growth within the specific hiring team, an opportunity has arisen to join this expanding business unit.

  • Maintain the management of existing PFG relationships in line with standard methodology and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners.
  • Portfolio management role with responsibility for ongoing proactive, high quality & robust credit reviews of your portfolio. Drafting of credit applications with a "right first time" approach.
  • Mentor colleagues as appropriate and promote inclusion and innovation.
  • Make valuable contributions to project work, initiatives and committees, as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse team, working in the very active market sector that is property finance. The successful candidate will involved in the largest transactions in Ireland dealing with large P/E funds, Global Sponsors and high net worth individuals.

  • Strong business/commercial competence with knowledge of financial & Real Estate markets.
  • Self-motivated team player with a pro-active approach and high degree of personal credibility.
  • Understanding of credit risk with analytical and numerical skills alongside an ability to build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, third party introducers.
  • Ability to manage priorities to tight timeframes including specific projects or other initiatives. Good communication and influencing skills with an ability to work effectively as part of a hard-working team.
