We currently have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Developer to join our applications team, based in Dublin. The role requires the individual be capable of building and maintaining sophisticated and scalable systems to support a growing user base. The individual will also be capable of producing high quality work and use practices such as continuous integration, unit and integration testing, and code reviews.

- Strong knowledge of developing web based applications,
- Strong relational database experience preferably MySql & Sql Server
- Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript (React, Vue or similar)
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTTP headers, cookies etc
- Experience with Continuous Integration / automated testing experience. (Jenkins or similar)
- Good understanding of website integration and software creation
- A passion for coding and learning best design practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative ability to produce effective solutions to customer problems
- Good team player that is enthusiastic about delivering results
- An analytical and innovative mind with a problem-solving attitude
- Experience working in a cloud environment
- Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Coldfusion / Lucee knowledge desirable but not essential
- Work closely with the IT team in completing projects
- Contributing to all phases of software life cycle, that is from design to development, maintenance and upgrade
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues relating to applications
- Ensure smooth operations of web processes and infrastructure
- Create scripts to facilitate client systems to meet performance and objectives
- Test and develop software for client applications
- Create documentation for software created
- Utilize source debuggers and write or modify client software
- MySQL and Sql Server for profiling and query optimisation
- Produce results effectively and within the deadlines set
- Follow the latest industry advancements and best practices
