Qa Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic QA Engineer with at least 2 years’ experience to join the Product team. The Product team is a successful, fast-paced engineering team developing and testing high-quality features.

The ideal candidate enjoys a challenge and will share our passion for delivering great software that has been validated effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.

Perform various types of testing, including regression, integration, and system testing, to identify defects and ensure high-quality software releases.

Work with development teams to reproduce and diagnose defects, and ensure timely resolution.

Ensure testing activities are well documented and results are communicated effectively to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software quality assurance and incorporate them into testing practices.

Skillset Needed

At least 2 years’ experience in software quality assurance

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices

Hands-on experience with mobile testing

Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a cross-functional team environment

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus, but not a must-have Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is
