Description:
To assist managers in ensuring that HSEQ methods and systems are implemented, used consistently, and monitored regularly, and to provide administrative and other relevant support in HSEQ matters.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
- Provide administrative and other support to managers to ensure compliance with HSEQ methods and systems and consistency of approach.
- Update HSEQ systems including Etrak to ensure the correct information relating to accidents, near misses, and non-conformances is reported; liaise with relevant departments to solicit required information.
- Collate and maintain HSEQ records and documentation in accordance with policy.
- Assist in the production of risk, manual handling, and COSHH assessment documentation.
- May maintain the emergency response plan including requirements for drills and training.
- Assist with the review and development of HSEQ procedures and instructions and controls distribution.
- Assist with arrangements for HSEQ audits in compliance with the agreed audit schedule (HSE and Quality).
- Schedule or assist with scheduling of regular tours of worksite/offices.
- Schedule and may assist with HSE and Quality training, including HSEQ induction training for new hires and contractors; update records as necessary.
- Attend and contribute to safety and quality meetings.
- May be responsible for collection and recording of PIP cards and/or distribution and display of HSEQ related posters and information.
- May be responsible for monitoring of First Aid certificates and arrangements for renewal.
- Maintain HSEQ filing system so that all relevant certificates, documents, and data sheets can be easily retrieved.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in an HSEQ environment.
- Basic understanding of HSEQ management systems.
