Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Quality Systems Coordinator for our well-established client, based in the Kildare area.

This is a permanent position, Coordinating the food safety & quality management systems & supporting the QA & the operations team in the effective implementation of that system.
Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Maintain the customer audit schedule- ensuring that audits are effectively coordinated.

• Coordinate and update the FS&QMS.

• Update, review and roll out all SOPs, WIs, Toolbox talks and records.

• Maintain & update all required risk assessments and reports.

• Maintain calibration matrix and ensure all equipment is sent for calibration.

• Coordinate and organise HACCP Review meetings.

• Develop and manage Quality & Food Safety related training.

• Responsible for coordinating and completing the close out on corrective actions reports.

• Ensure all standards are appropriately communicated and trained out.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Food Science/Technology or Food Quality Management.

• Minimum 4 yrs. experience in a QA role in Food Manufacturing/high risk area.

• HACCP trained- Level 5 or 6.

• Excellent knowledge and working experience with maintaining or achieving BRC A grade at site level.

• Good understanding of EU Food Legislation.

• Experience with similar large retailer codes of practice i.e. (M&S, TWA, Musgraves or Morrisons).

• Experience with food service company codes of practice i.e. (Subway or Yum would be an advantage
