Description:

The role of The Telephonist / Receptionist will meet and greet members of the public in a courteous manner,
answer all enquiries made and direct persons to the appropriate clinic, ward, office etc.
The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office:
• QQI qualification in Office Administration or similar is essential

  • Suitable significant experience may be treated as a substitute for a relevant qualification
  • Relevant qualification and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Outlook; Word; Excel) is essential
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, switchboard / telephone operator or similar role is essential
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • Reception/Switchboard experience in a Healthcare or Clinical Setting environment is a distinct advantage
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with own initiative and can prioritise own workload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
