Black Shamrock - A Virtuos Studio, is pleased to offer a full-time mentored internship within it’s HR & Recruitment Team. This program would be the ideal platform for an enthusiastic individual to develop their skills through a further education centred role in a creative media environment. The successful candidate will gain experience in a full suite of HR related functions as well as having the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from an international team of highly skilled professionals. This position would suit an ambitious person with keen communication and organisation skills who wish to take their first steps in the highly rewarding gaming industry as part of a people orientated company.
What Is an Intern with Black Shamrock?
- A recent graduate of a relevant educational program or currently studying their penultimate/final year of the same (recognition is given to any relevant qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications at Level 6 orabove).
- Has a requirement for 3 - 10 months internship as part of academic accreditation or is seeking nomore than 6 months of experience and training following course graduation.
- Interns will be eligible for consideration for any relevant permanent roles that should open subsequent to their successful completion of the Internship Program.
- Internships include remuneration on a monthly basis and as such requires participants to be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
What you will be doing
- Assist in all aspects of recruitment including posting jobs, sourcing, meeting with hiring managers, reviewing resumes, scheduling and coordination of interviews
- Take a creative and results-driven approach to recruiting, developing, and improving our sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates
- Meet with Hiring Managers to define candidate selection criteria and timelines for delivery.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to understand current and future needs as well as educating on best practices for interviews
- Strengthen our employer brand by providing an exceptional end-to-end candidate experience
- Maintain accurate candidate notes in our applicant tracking systems and ensure timely coordination of candidate movement through various systems and processes.
- Ensure job postings are accurate, marketable and target the appropriate audience
- Supporting administrative tasks relating to the recruitment of key talent and new hire onboarding/induction.
What you should have
- Recently completed or currently studying programs in the area of Human Resources or other relevant fields such as Business,Law,Finance,Social Sciences,People Management, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel,Word, etc.) is required as well as other programs such as GSuite, Client Management systems, Talent Acquisition portals etc.
- Fluent spoken and written English is needed for this position but fluency and familiarity with additional languages are an advantage in the role.
- A passion for gaming and an interest in the games industry.
