Established in 2009, the Dublin Centre is comprised of over 100 colleagues analysing millions of data points captured in Aons Global Risk Insights Platform (GRIP) to provide impactful market insights and reports. We transform data received directly from Brokers and other sources into actionable analytics.

What The Day Will Look Like
 

  • Undertake leadership and management of designated Growth Analytics product/s and/or region (including ensuring delivery of core analytical insights within timelines)
  • Partner closely with country, regional and/or global leaders (across Solution Lines, Finance, Growth Operations and others) to improve existing and develop new data and analytics capabilities to drive growth and efficiencies for Aon
  • Be seen as a strategic advisor to the business leaders on our programs and tools, providing advice on standard processes and being able to foresee issues and challenges that can then be mitigated. The successful candidate will be required to solve specific problems which will result in improved analytics, often on an ad-hoc basis
  • Demonstrate cross-functional knowledge and drive collaboration across ACIA and wider Enterprise Analytics, to realize synergies and deliver enhanced capabilities of the team’s offerings, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and value proposition and consider broader applicability across teams and functions
  • Support the development and implementation of operational frameworks to embed Growth Analytics effectively within the businesses
  • Contribute to the development of the long-term strategy of the team, and drive continuous innovation and improvements in delivery of our programs
  • People management responsibilities, including ownership of teams’ goal setting, development plans and appraisals, and the continuous development of knowledge and capabilities of the team collectively.

The successful applicant will be based in Dublin, as an extension of the Growth Analytics team based in Singapore, a dynamic and high-energy team, delivering data-driven insights to our leaders to drive performance and support strategic decision making. This role extends beyond analytics and requires strategic collaboration with teams such as sales, product, technology, finance, and more.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
 

  • Ability to engage business leaders, define business problems and enable creation and delivery of analytics driven solutions to these problems
  • Ability to communicate and present to senior stakeholders. Developed interpersonal skills which will allow the successful candidate to build key relationships throughout our global business
  • Ability to deliver under pressure, and agility to manage multiple business requests and projects from various stakeholders
  • Experience within analytics or financial analysis, able to identify key attributes or issues from large data sets
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and organize work with attention to detail in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Highly independent, hard-working and proactive in proposing and implementing improvements in processes
  • Proven expertise of creating reports that are used for strategic decision making (PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Established knowledge of Aon and ACIA propositions, relationships across ACIA to drive collaboration across teams would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, and/or Tableau would be beneficial although not essential
