Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Under the guidance and direction of the Head of International Recruitment, the Regional Manager will be required to:
  • Inform, develop and implement strategies for student recruitment in their target markets to achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Develop, deliver and monitor annual regional engagement activity plans, revenues and budgets.
  • Deliver excellent relationship development and management with stakeholders in region and in Ireland.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing international visits, delegations and events in support of regional engagement priorities.
  • Assess and develop institutional collaborations, in conjunction with the NCI Academic Partnerships Manager, with a view to recruiting students and enhancing NCI’s reputation.
  • Build on existing relationships and develop a wide range of effective working relationships with staff in academic and administrative units involved in regional engagement.
  • Develop business cases and budget plans.
  • Manage regional budgets with a focus on impact and return on investment.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities in regions covered by the role.
  • Support the development of policies and strategies for the NCI International Office.
  • Any other duties or markets relevant to the objectives of NCI.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Significant experience in managing international student recruitment and international education agent networks (Applicants with significant related international sales experience from non-education sectors may be considered).
  • Third-level degree and a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in a results focused organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience of achieving ambitious revenue targets.
  • Experience in developing and managing efficient operational procedures to develop international markets.
  • Ability to identify and build international student recruitment channels.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to use data to make informed decisions and to prioritise work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including an ability to relate to, and interact with, people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated professional discretion and diplomacy
