Reinsurance Technician

Description:

I am partnering with a well-known financial services company to recruit a Reinsurance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing and new client reinsurance contracts, coordinating renewals, preparing underwriting results, reviewing cession data, and managing cashflows. They will work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Managing/reviewing existing and new contracts from clients.
• Preparing and delivering underwriting results.
• Preparing intercompany reconciliations and cession data.
• Managing cashflow (claims and payments).
• Supporting internal and external audits.

Key Skills

• At least two years’ experience of relevant reinsurance experience with a broad knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
• Familiarity with SICS reinsurance system is advantageous.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
