Barden is excited to support our client, a market-leading open architecture Investment Platform. They are currently seeking a Relationship Manager to join their team.

 

Our client offers a comprehensive range of investment solutions to the intermediary market, accessible through Financial Advisors, Accountancy Firms, and Pensioner Trustees.

 

In this role, you’ll report to the Head of Relationship Management and be responsible for driving sales, managing distribution, and fostering relationships with advisory firms in the Munster region.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Develop new and nurture existing client relationships within the intermediary and financial adviser channel.
  • Assist Advisor Firms transitioning from traditional transactional-based income to a fee/recurring income-based remuneration model.
  • Manage and monitor sales targets.
  • Collaborate with all business areas to ensure a best-in-class service to advisor firms.
  • Understand and evaluate competitor products, providing regular reporting on the same.
  • Monitor trends and practice development ideas in both the Irish and International Financial Planning/Advice markets.
  • Willingness to travel across parts of the country.

 

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • QFA qualification is essential
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investments.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to form good working relationships with new and existing clients.
