Position Summary

Applications are invited for a part-time (0.7 FTE) Research Support Officer position funded by the European Research Council and Science Foundation Ireland. The position will provide essential administrative and occasionally technical support to two new projects and forms part of a series of new hires in palaeontology at UCC.

The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of project logistics, including managing lab supplies, legal documentation, procurement, travel, hiring and websites. The candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in managing large datasets, communications and collating expenditure data relating to project finances. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, will assist with onboarding new group members and must be comfortable with liaising with diverse stakeholders.
