Responsibilities for this Retail Security Officer Job:
- Monitor store premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
- Provide assistance to customers and maintain a friendly, approachable presence.
- Respond swiftly to security or safety incidents, including emergencies, and document all occurrences accurately.
- Key holding responsibilities to include opening/closing of the Store
- Carry out routine spot checks on waste, deliveries, closing stock, refunds, voids and employees
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular patrols of the store, focusing on entrances, exits, and other vulnerable areas.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures.
